- Summers are warm and dry, with cold, wet winters.
The rainfall is ± 800 mm per year.
SOIL:
Table Mountain sandstone, granite and Malmesbury shale
VINIFICATION:
Grapes from four varietals were harvested at 24°
B and fermented dry on the skins. The wine was allowed
to undergo malolactic fermentation before barrel maturation,
after which it was blended and bottled.

PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION:
An intense red colour. Greenpepper, cinnamon spice
and sweet black-berry scents contributes to a fascinating,
complex nose. Hints of chocolate combines well with
the intense wood character.
SERVING
SUGGESTION:
Ideal with red meats, ranging from stews and casseroles,
to roasts and steaks or with strong, ripe cheeses.
